Click on the search bar in the top navigation. When you get to the search, fill out the name of the person you are looking for. When you find them click on their name and avatar. At their profile, below their display picture, click the link that says add friend.
How do I add Music?
First go to your profile. When your there click on the albums tab. If you scroll down you will see a button that says add song. On the page it will say title, artist, mp3 url, tags, and a check box for featured. The featured spot for songs will be located underneath your dance resume on the top area of your page. It wont play on load however so you will need to press play to listen. The rest of the songs you upload will go under your albums tab. You can upload as many as you want. In order to get music on your profile you need a url code like the ones you use from youtube for videos. The two easiest ways to get these are:
A.)Go to projectplaylist.com, and do a search for any song you would like. Once found check that the link works by clicking the play icon. If your song plays then the link will work on your page.
2. Look either next to the title of the song or below that to find the “visit site” link. Click on that link. A new window will open up.
3. Find the Search Result Location, located near the top of the page. Underneath it is a url. Copy that and paste it into the mp3 url box on your page.
4. If you want it on the top area of your page check the featured box. Enjoy your music!

How do I add a Video?
Go to youtube and copy the url for the video you want to add. Then go back to your profile. On your profile page, click the tab that says "Albums". Under it click the button that says add video. When your their make sure that you have the url for the video and put it in the youtube url box. Fill out the rest of the form and hit submit.
How do I add Pictures?
Go to your profile page. Click the tab that says "Albums". Under it click the button that says "Add Album". Create your picture album. When its created upload your photos by clickin add photo.
How do I add a Blog?
Go to your profile page. Click the tab that says "Blogs". Under it click the button that says "Add Blog". Create your blog and hit submit.
How come some things dont show up on my profile?
Go into your personal profile and click Edit My Profile Go to the portion that is not showing up on your profile and make sure it is not marked as private.

What is the Advisory Board?
The DanceStage advisory board is a group of professionals in the dance industry that represent our site. They are there to share their insights and give dancers a glimpse into their creative and professional worlds.
What is the Featured Video?
The featured video is a dance related video that the Dancestage staff finds intriguing and/or entertaining. The featured video changes weekly. If you have a suggestion for our featured video section, please email it to director@dancestage.com
How do I contact the Advisory Board Members?
It is up to each individual whether or not they give the public permission to private message and leave comments on their profile. If you cannot seem to leave a message for a certain member, it is because they choose not to participate in that feature.
